Growing up in the military set me up to love meeting new people and experiencing new things. I lived three years in Germany after I graduated from high school, which was a dream come true and then headed to Lakeland, Florida to pursue my degree. And I’ve never left Central Florida!

My husband, Craig and I are college sweethearts and have been married for nine years. Our favorite things to do are to read adolescent literature out loud to one another  { think Harry Potter, The Giver, and Chronicles of Narnia } and to go to the $3 theatre, watch a film and eat mini-corndogs. He is my best friend and encourages me to pursue my crazy dreams, like this photography business.

In 2008 I became a mother! My oldest is five, only daughter is three and we had the amazing priveledge to expand our family through adopting from the country of Uganda, adding a two and one year old to the mix in the of winter 2012. To say our house is a little crazy is an understatement, but it is one of the greatest joys of my life. Being a mom to four very young children is challenging, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So, if you see me in public and I look a little frazzeled, you now know why.

This business was started in July 2010 after a childhood of seeing the beauty of the world through other’s photographs and several photo journalism classes at university. My strengths as a photographer are my high-energy, my skills to pose people quickly and efficiently and my ability to capture my client’s genuine personality. And I just like to have a good time!

Just in case you are still reading and would like to know more random facts about me:
